About Us
Livenzorg is a specialized homecare company based in the Netherlands, offering live-in care services nation wide. We make sure the elderly and disabled get the care and support they need. Our team stays in constant touch with everyone involved to ensure smooth and effective care.
Our team is always available and has a lot of experience handling different situations. Our live-in care service is all about providing personalized, effective, and safe care. Our main goal is to make sure our clients are happy and have a good quality of life.
Our caregivers
Our caregivers are experienced, responsible, warm people who have the calm and expertise to support you or your loved one.
They primarily speak English and have at least two years of proven experience in home care. They are carefully selected by a team that has more than 20 years of experience in recruitment and selection. Before arriving in the Netherlands, they undergo a specialized training focused on working in the country.
Our caregivers come from various countries, like Portugal, Brazil, India and other countries.

Our approach
In our first conversation we will assess together with you whether what we offer aligns with what you are looking for.
If necessary, we will schedule another meeting to gather further information about you, your situation, and your preferences. Based on this information, we will find a caregiver with the right experience and personality. After a careful selection, we present you with a caregiver that suits your care needs. We’ll arrange for you to speak with the caregiver to see if it’s a good match.
All preparations for the start of the care will be arranged by us, such as booking the flights, transport to your home, training for the caregiver and all legal procedures (contract, insurance, etc.)
Once the care has started, we will stay in touch with both you and the caregiver to ensure that the arrangement is working well. Initially, this may require more frequent check-ins to establish a good routine.
After a good routine is established, we will stay in contact with you and the caregiver to ensure that everything continues to run smoothly.

Timeline
It takes about two to three weeks for a caregiver to begin working at your home from the moment you indicate that you want to use our services and sign the contract.

Services
We offer live-in care services. This means a caregiver lives in your home to help you with your daily tasks. This way, you can continue to live comfortably at home while still receiving the care and support you need. Our caregivers focus on integrating into your daily routine as best as possible.
Our caregivers can help you with:
- Personal care
- Assistance with movement around the house
- Medication management
- Preparing meals and support with eating and drinking
- Promoting or maintaining independence
- Household chores
- Assistance with appointments
- Note: our caregivers do not perform any medical procedures
How it works
Our caregivers are there for you six days a week, providing 38 hours of care, with one day off per week.
With a live-in caregiver, you have more say and control over how and when care is provided, and there is always someone dedicated to you. The care moments are arranged in consultation with you, ensuring that support is available at the times that are most convenient and valuable for you.

What is expected of you?
For you to be able to use our service, you need to provide our caregiver with the following:
- Accommodation: The caregiver must have a suitable place to stay. This means a fully furnished private bedroom and access to a bathroom and toilet.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, with at least one meal served hot. The meals are nutritious and varied.
- Day off: The caregiver is entitled to one full day off per week. On this day, you will ensure that another person supervises and provides the care.
- Internet connection: You provide a free internet connection so that the caregiver can keep in touch with her/his family during the stay.

What are the costs for you?
To determine the exact cost per month, we need to assess the support you will require on a weekly basis. Based on your situation and care needs, we will calculate the monthly amount.
The monthly fee covers the following components:
• 38 hours of care per week.
• Flights and transfers of the caregivers.
• Ongoing coaching and training of the caregiver.
• Arrangement of replacement when the caregiver is on leave in their home country.
• Service management.

Our care can be paid for from the Personal Budget (PGB). This means that our services are affordable for almost everyone who has an indication from the Care Needs Assessment Centre (CIZ) under the Long-term care act (Wlz).
If you make use of a personal budget (PGB), you always pay a personal contribution. The personal contribution depends on your income, assets, indication from and the composition of your household. Depending on your situation, this can be a low or a high contribution. You can find more information on the website of the Central Administration Office (CAK).
Of course, you can also pay for our care privately or consider a combination of PGB and private payment. This is possible as long as you can provide our caregiver with accommodation, meals, one day off per week, and internet access.

If you want to pay for our care from the PGB (or partly from the PGB), you will need an indication from the Care Needs Assessment Centre (CIZ).
Indication for Wlz
The CIZ assesses whether you are eligible for 24-hour care under the Long-term Care Act (Wlz). This depends on several criteria. There must be a permanent need for care for the rest of your life. In addition, it is examined whether care and/or supervision is required day and night, and whether there is a risk of serious harm without this care or supervision.
Additionally, checks are conducted to verify if there is an appropriate basis, such as specific diseases or limitations like somatic, psychogeriatric, intellectual, physical, sensory, or psychological conditions.
